My basic question was if the two units "responded the same" to changing moisture conditions ie a response curve of the unit . That is.. speed of sensing, accuracy over the range of soil moisture encountered, etc. I might assume that the Diviner would have a quicker response as it measures soil moisture content somewhat directly, while the Watermarks have to be wetted at the sensing site. >I recommend you get a basic soil physics textbook and read up on it.
