There is a sensor called Humitest MC-50 which is a capacitance moisture
meter for wood (0-85% moisture) and homogeneus building materials (0-16%).
The field penetretion depth is about 30-50 mm and the ressolution 0.1%
I think it is manufactered by a finnish company called JJL TeKno.
