Potential vs. resistance for gypsum blocks

Dear group:

A manufacturer of a datalogging system has asked me to help him 
locate "calibration" curves for gypsum blocks that can be used to 
convert from ohms resistance into the water potential of the block.

I presume that various makes of gypsum blocks will have different 
calibrations due to differences in the grid design and pore size 
distribution.  He has a calibration curve for WaterMark sensors 
already, but would like to have any calibration data for Delmhorst or 
other makes of gypsum blocks.
