The dates are September 5-7, 2001 and it is anticipated that there will be participants from around the world. The Symposium will embrace the diverse and continually growing field of metallic and optical TDR monitoring. Sessions will cover: Rock and Soil Deformation, Soil Moisture, Subsurface Chemical Transport, Leak Detection, Groundwater Level Changes, Optical Fiber Applications, Structural Cracking and Deformation, Instrumentation and Telemetry, Basic Physics Submit a 200 word abstract via email by 30 Sept 2000 to Dr. Charles H. Dowding c-dowding@nwu.edu Abstracts longer than 200 words will not be considered for review. Authors will be notified by 30 Nov 2000 as to whether they should prepare an 10 page paper for submission by 1 Mar 2001. These papers will be reviewed by the organizing committee members. Abstracts of poster session papers will be included in the proceedings.
