NOTE: To get off this list, send email to majordomo@aqua.ccwr.ac.za with the body of the message containing the line: unsubscribe sowacs I am interested in soil moisture (theory and measurement) to extrapolate terrestrial experiences to Mars, possibly with later experiments there. Which would be the most appropriated "introducing literature" and who is be interested to cooperate in that field? The appropriated measurement principles are of main interest in a first phase. The main extraterrestrial aspect is of course to study the water content in deeper Martian surface layersabove the permafrost and to understand the interaction with the atmosphere (water outgassing and recondensation, etc.).
