NOTE: To get off this list, send email to majordomo@aqua.ccwr.ac.za with the body of the message containing the line: unsubscribe sowacs Dear list members, I've been entertaining the thought of offering a single channel datalogger for use with Campbells CS615 soil moisture probe to complement my four channel datalogger. I wanted to check with list members to see if there may be an interest in such a datalogger. I was thinking of the following features for the datalogger; Log intervals of one minute to one day. One frequency input channel (16 bit measurement) Sensor enable output for switching the CS615 probe on 19,000 time and date stamped samples stored in non-volatile memory Projected cost would be $100 us or less An analog channel could be added for measuring soil temperature to compensate the CS615 I'm also interested whether or not you find that the Onset line of voltage dataloggers are providing enough resolution/range for your sensors? I'm thinking of offering a 4 channel voltage datalogger which would have a software programmable input range of either 0 to 3.072 vdc with a resolution of three millivolts or 0 to 5.000 vdc with a resolution of 4.8 millivolts.
