Cliff: I agree! Len Ornstein [Bruce comments: Phew! I thought we were going to get into some mud slinging there for a minute! One of the difficulties of communicating through this medium (apart from the hassle of two-fingered typing:) is actually saying what we mean! Clear, concise writing is an art that has to be worked at. Fortunately, with the low level of "noise" on the sowacs list, the fact that all messages have to be moderated by me (which therefore introduces a significant time lag), and the good writing skills of most contributors - we don't often enter into flaming wars.... Whilst I'm on my soap box - are there any members who would see the need for other versions of the sowacs email messages - such as digests, html versions, on-line versions? I want to keep sowacs in line with what technological advances are possible - but only if required. Personally, I don't see the need for any of the above..? Perhaps a searchable archive of the old postings would be useful to refer new members to as a first crack at any particular quastion. Perhaps an FAQ needs to be evolved?
