As with the 1994 gathering, it embraces the diverse and growing fields of metallic and optical TDR monitoring and has drawn participants from around the world. Special discounts on near-by accommodations have been arranged for TDR 2001. A limited number of rooms have been reserved at a discounted price at two Evanston hotels - the Hilton Garden Inn and the Omni Orrington. Both are located in downtown Evanston, within walking distance of Tech Institute. Individual symposium attendees are responsible for booking and paying for their own rooms. The deadlines for securing a room are August 4 (Hilton) and August 14 (Omni) so please don't delay.
