[Bruce comments - I made some myself from paired aluminium discs bolted
together. Aluminum is soft enough to easily hammer an indentation to wrap
around the cable. Just make sure the nuts or bolts do not coe loose down
the access tube, as the probe can then become firmly lodged - as happened
to me!]
