NOTE: To get off this list, send email to majordomo@aqua.ccwr.ac.za with the body of the message containing the line: unsubscribe sowacs To: Luis Gurovic Greetings fom Australia... If you get a CPN 503 as a replacement for the Troxler, would your students be interested in using our software ? There would be no charge if you were using it for teaching. It is part-translated into Spanish, but not properly checked. The software is designed for commercial growers (not research), using soil moisture to schedule irrigations Wine grape growers use it to control drip systems to automatically apply water to maintain the soil water content at varying levels during the season i.e. RDI The software can use the CPN 503; Sentek Diviner2000; Delta-T ProfileProbe; CNC neutron probe (Beijing); and any other instrument that outputs data in a text file. I will be in Capetown for the next 2 weeks with users, but will be checking email --- There are a lot of 2nd hand CPN 503's on the market. Are you interested in sources in the USA ? >Luis >Here is a message of help from Trevor Finch. >I am sorry your original message did not go out in October when you sent it >to me the first time. (The hosting site had major changes, and they could >not send sowacs for several weeks!) > >I might send a shorter version of your plea again in a few days and I will >include your email in it. > >Thank you for your kind words. > >Bruce >==================== >Trevor >I have copied this to Luis lgurovic@pop.puc.cl as you can see. >Bruce > >>>>> > >If Luis Gurovich finds a CPN 503 for teaching we would like to offer him a >copy of our irrigation scheduling software (it runs in Spanish) > >Do you have a direct email for him ? > > > >>I hope you still remember me, the guy from Chile you hosted in >>Pietermarisbourg in 1996. >> >>I have followed very closely your brilliant professional activities, >>through SOWACS.
