Neutron probes - looking for a good home

Dear Sowacs,

I have just received an e mail regarding neutron probes looking for a
home. I work at TAFE here in Mildura Victoria, - the centre of a major
irrigation area. The TAFE Institute operates a mixed property of some 25
hectares of vines, citrus and avocados. We currently use tensiometers, and
a neutron probe would be most useful to improve our scheduling.

We run Fruit growing apprentices, gardening apprentices, and also a two
day course for growers that has had approximately 1300 growers through it
over the last 8 years or so. A neutron probe would therefore be most
useful for tuition for these people. The property is used as a training
facility for apprentices, and growers.

Please contact me on 0419 352 291 so that we might talk about the
possibilities.

Thanks for the kind suggestion for the redundant neutron probes.

Yours faithfully

Peter Hammond <phammond@sunitafe.edu.au>
