I was involved in the development of two expert systems for use in
Agriculture: one for reaping and curing of tobacco and the other for
fertilization of tobacco.  They are available commercially from the Tobacco
Research Board and some information on these has been published in
conference proceedings - available from the Tobacco Research Board, P.O. Box
