"Jason Gray" <jpg@altechnologies.com.au> writes to the sowacs list: ===8<============== I am a PhD student in Western Australia studying the variation in unstabilised granular pavement structural capacity through seasonal cycles. I am looking for a moisture monitoring device/sensor that I can install permanently into the various pavement layers and subgrades. I would intend on taking readings every week or so depending on the weather for a couple of years. The sensor would obviously need to be able to be buried. The cable(s) would then be channelled to the side of the road away from any traffic. Can anyone recommend equipment that would be useful in this situation? Any responses will be greatly appreciated.
