SOWACS re your comments required on two proposals

With regard to changes to the sowacs email discussion list:

Consensus is that the email list should be rigorously non-commercial.

I have set up a separate list  quotes@sowacs.com to which you should
subscribe if you would like to receive requests to submit quotes on
products (that have been sent to sowacs).

ALL  posts come first to me before I manually approve them for sending
out to the list. So I take the decision as to whether any post
is commercial - or ***adds value to the discussion*** which is the key
to getting your post sent out!
In  other words, you are free to promote your product - as long as you
do it in an open, scientific, "giving" sort of way :)

If you, for example, wanted to let the list members know about your new
invention - for controlling irrigation valves with a sensor  - then of
course we would expect a technical description of all the details,
how you have tested it, as well as where we could buy it - and how
much it will cost.

part of the email).
