Please note that although this is a FOR SALE posting, since it directly
concerns sowacs members and could be of benefit, I have sent it on - see below..
Sender: owner-sowacs@aqua.ccwr.ac.za
Precedence: bulk
Since the list has become MODERATED, I have been able to prevent the _real_
junkmail that was coming through sowacs from getting to you, the members.
(Believe me, there is quite a lot!)
All those who have been worried that sowacs is no more need not - it has
just been very quiet.
Hopefully we can stimulate some action... perhaps some discussion about the
pro's and cons of using the neutron probe? - and whether those running
irrigation scheduling systems based on this technology had better get "with
it" and look at some alternatives!?
Just stirring the pot a little!
Now that I am employed again, [hurrah, hurrah!], I am considering sending
sowacs posts in a large batch when enough have collected, or at least at,
say weekly intervals. When conversation hots up, daily transmissions could
be reinstated. Unfortunately, a digest is not possible. Your feelings on
this, please.
Lastly, I am still looking for my first ADVERTISER willing to take the
plunge and help sponsor the soon-to-be-released sowacs.com web page (which I
am very busy on - between having a regular job again!)
