Please note : those sending "vcard.vcf" sig attachments - I have not been
able to send the information through sowacs postings, and the sender's
details are therefore not always clear.
(I am obviously slipping up by not being vcard-friendly - can anyone advise
me on this?)

Are you in the US?  If so, get in touch with Jack Hillen.  Go to the
sowacs homepage, look at the list of probes there,
(http://www.icfrnet.unp.ac.za/sowacs/heatdiss.html).  Otherwise you can
try jackh@fishnet.net.  Gypsum blocks are pretty unreliable compared
with some of the newer technology available.  Jack's retailing
waterwatchers for around the $US159 last time I looked.

By the way, I don't make any money out of making the recommendation.
It's just that when you find something good that works and is relatively
inexpensive - use it.
