Mike, Campbell Scientific makes a conductivity/temp probe (model 247 i think). we have used several of them for tracer tests and routine monitoring. I am not sure how viscous your slime is, but you need to have some flow through the sensor (two electrodes inside a 1/4 inch tube). The listed range is .005 to 7.5 mS (app. 4 g/L if i approximated correctly?). I think this range is too low, but it might be worth double checking.
