Neutron probe : calibration curves for all textures?

Marcus,

Neutron probe response depends on the elemental H in the soil which
varies with organic matter, bulk density, and other more complex soil
factors.  Consequently, accurate calibrations will be needed by field
location, even within one soil series of one textural class in one
county.  The generalized unifying calibrations that you seek are not a
very accurate approach.
