Poplar Evapotranspiration and growth responses

Friends,

I would like leads on articles published covering poplar irrigation
requirements, ETc, and soil water potential requirements.  Help with
quality publications would be appreciated.

In the spring of 1997 we initiated three poplar growth studies; water
requirements, weed control, and cover crops.  Our experiments were
planted 14'x 14' for saw log production, not paper pulp, so they may not
be of general applicability to poplar plantings for other purposes.
