Refereeing SOWACS

There has been some interesting debate over how far any particular Devil's
advocate is allowed to take things on sowacs.... (and a humble response from
the said DAIR).

A few points have come to mind:

1/ Were it not for the Marty's DAIR post , the information may not have come
to light 
      (as suggested in one of the two posts below).

2/ Where appropriate, I will "referee" posts by asking the poster to edit
their post.
I trust this will occur very infrequently, and all will cooperate so things
don't take as long as refereed journal papers :]  . . . (having recently
_finally_ completed getting a paper to print).

3/ Activity on sowacs naturally has its peaks and lulls - but I'm sure
you'll agree that each is to be welcomed...
