Refereeing SOWACS

Just a quick observation:

If Ian Woodhead and Peter Broomhall (two recent contributors to SOWACS)
were ever to form a business, it would be a clean "sweep"!!

Say, I appreciate the SOWACS's owner's decision to "police" the responses.
I agree that the "DAIR"'s response to Peter John's contribution was a bit
coarse. However, he did make a few valid points. Perhaps in the future,
the SOWACS's majordomo could turn back coarse or insenstive contributions to
the contributer with the areas of concern flagged, and with the invitation
to modify and resubmit. It would not be unlike the process of a refereed
journal.

I appreciate that this requires time. However, the coarser contributions
are relatively infrequent. I would be happy to help out with some of these
"referee" jobs.

The latest response by the majordomo referred to John Johnson's contribution
of 12 August as being an excellent summary of the Aquaflex principle.
However, I thought that Marty Grogan's contribution on 11 August was equally
if not even more illuminating of the basic principles employed. So it is
not that MG is always the DAIR! And, a little (noncoarse) humor can add to
the spice of life.

Thanks. Please feel free to "referee" this contribution.
