important subjects. I do consider that Sowacs and Trickle e-mail lists
(thanks to you and to Richard Mead) could have excellent contributions
to the research, education, design, and manufacturing communities. In my
opinion the main goal is to offer to the current and future users of
soil water content sensors and monitoring systems a variety of options
based on the best technologies available, and suitable for their local
needs. Finally all of us, working in research or directly into
production, will benefit by having fast access to the experience of
