Re: choose a sensor

Hi Grandjean

Presumably you must have the names of Max Hilhorst & Jos Balendonk at
the Measurement Technology Department of IMAG-DLO
(m.a.hilhorst@imag.dlo.nl or j.balendonk@................).
You could also speak with Ryan Wilkins at Delta-T devices
(fi42@delta-t.co.uk) and Bill Pogue at Irrometer@aol.com for details
of the Watermark sensors. The SOWACS web site gives you details of
the HMS9000 Microterm 4800 device from INRA France.

There appears to be a Danish senor also - check Aalborg University
web site www.auc.dk and search for Henrik Nissen, my notes say. Clemente Wehner
(CWW@pacificcoast.net) is keen to promote the TDR and Virrib
equipment of ESI Environmental Sensors (www.esica.com). If you are
energetic you can try to track done the Cambrone sensor - via Ken
Uzzell (kuzzell@zip.com.au). I'd be interested to hear which one
you settle for.

Dr Ioan Paltineanu will give you information on long term durability
(ipaltin@asrr.arsuda.gov). You might want to talk to Ian Woodhead
(woodhead@lincoln.ac.nz) if you are interested in a strip sensor.
