We do indeed, since tensiometers are recording both matric and pneumatic
potential...
What I've read suggests that entrapped air can persist for periods of up to
10 days, following heavy rainfall events. Though reported entrapped air
pressures, recorded during border strip irrigation, tended to dissipate
within about 7 hours. Field measurements suggest that entrapped air
pressures are typically up to a maximum of 20 cm water.
What did you measure?
