We are looking to install a device that will monitor voltages of some remote
systems. We need at least 1500 of these devices. We are looking for a data
logger to get the data (measurement), and a transmitter to send this
information to a central office or central computer. The area where these
devices will operate is located in the forest. Ideally these devices will
have the following features:

Data logger
Accurate
Reliable
Durable
Rugged
Battery Backup Powered
Programmable
Work in temperature ranges of -40 to 50 C
Measure -300 VAC to 300 VAC
Communication Interface 

Transmitter
Open to suggestions
Depends on data logger
