Hello Neelam,

during last year we were made similar experiences with measuring
infiltration under lawn. We were used VIRRIB soil  moisture sensors, placed
at three layers. On our web site http://www.zf.mendelu.cz/amet in part
Animations you can see some very interesting animations about some cases of
infiltration during rainy periods.
