Thanks to the wonders of Unix, Perl and MHonArc, the sowacs
messages are now being automagically ARCHIVED at:
http://www.icfrnet.unp.ac.za/sowacs/archive/maillist.html
All messages will appear there the day after they were sent out
Feel free to browse the recent posts that you may have missed -
and here it is easier to follow the threads of the
"conversations" on the "thread.html" index.
Alternatively, the posts are also listed by date order at the
maillist.html URL (as above).
You still need to be member of the sowacs list, as there is no
way of interacting on the web page - and not everyone has access,
or the inclination to go to the page....
This occurs without the intervention of a single human key
stroke! - and I thought the majordomo listserver software was a
great automation innovation!
PLEASE NOTE.
I am still looking for someone to take over "ownership" of this
sowacs email list.
Now that the archiving is automated (here) or on your own server
if you would prefer - the job will be a *lot* easier.
(If I get one admin request a week it is a lot.)
Depending on the employment I take up next year, I may, once
again, be in a position to continue with sowacs, but if not, then
it would be up to you to continue or to pass on...
