go To the older archives for JUNE 1996 and MAY 1996

  • 1 (welcome to the automated list)
  • The second outgoing message outlines the principle of operation of TDR and FDR and their respective differences and problems (23 April 1996). As an example, the capacitance sensors used in the SENTEK EnviroSCAN is discussed. A lot of the discussion is taken directly from the TRICKLE-L archives.
  • Also sent with part two is news of new type of moisture sensor, the voltammetric sensor developed by Dasgupta and Yeh is outlined. I first read about it here (Cheap sensor HYPODERMIC)

  • The first outgoing message is a discussion of the CS615 TDR sensor (soil water reflectometer) (Wed 22 Feb '96)
  • Summary of TDR related findings in general.
  • The initial advertisement to join the groups.

  • MEMBERS of SoWaCS as of 1 July 1996 and the original list of those involved in the original SoWaCS and Rubbery Ruler discussion groups.
