(Sorry,the preceding is a joke, I was just trying to make the point that Idon't know the reason for the internal battery failure). Lindsay did not mention the frequency with which the Tektronix was activated, I assume it was the same sort of interval (about every2 hours) but if not that would be a significant factor. Another possibility would be differences in the 1502B and 1502C in terms of their power up requirements and as Lindsay mentioned . More information without an actual answer.
