Many instrumentation systems exhibit a cyclical temperaturevariation which
depends on thermal mass as well as static variation with ambient
temperature.  The cyclical variation can be factored by averagingmaximums
and minimums over the cycle window.  These cycles can be as shortas minutes
or as long as hours.

Question:  How much variation of concern occurs because of cyclingvs.
